Former Florida QB Tim Tebow is out promoting his memoir, “Through My Eyes,” which was released Tuesday. He has book tour dates scheduled for three stops in Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando and Gainesville) and two in Colorado (Colorado Springs and Denver).
But the book promotion took him to “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Thursday, where Tebow held his own with the comedian.
Stewart asks Tebow how old he is, and the QB says 23.
“A lot of people might say you want to wait until you’re 24 to write an autobiography,” Stewart quipped.
The two go on to discuss the Broncos, Tebow’s missionary work and whether payers should be paid. (For the record, Tebow’s in favor of players getting a little more to ” so they just could go to dinner, afford a scooter to drive around campus.”)
Check out the video here. It’s actually pretty funny. You can watch the whole show, or jump ahead to the 15-minute mark.
(Fair warning, it’s The Daily Show. There’s some cursing and ripping on politicians, so skip that part if you don’t want to watch it.)
