Denver Broncos trade out of 2012 draft’s first round
2012 NFL Draft – First, the Denver Broncos traded down to pick 31. Then they traded out of the first round altogether.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved back into Round One, trading the Broncos the 36th and 101st selections for the Broncos’ 31st and 126th (part of the New England trade).
The Patriots selected Dont’a Hightower with the 25th pick. The Bucanneers selected RB Doug Martin 31st. Two fan favorites came off the board right where the Broncos were picking.
